August Employee of the Month

Meet one of our employees who is dedicated to our Culture of Care, Lisa Rodgers! Lisa is being recognized as Salem Woods' August Employee of the Month!

Lisa is our wonderful Activities Assistant and does a great job at bringing enriching, engaging, and most importantly, fun activities to our residents. They have expressed how much they love hanging out with Lisa! Our staff members have also shared how smooth and easy it is to work with Lisa. Working in activities brings Lisa a sense of purpose. She loves working at Salem and said, "Knowing I brought smiles to the residents' faces that day is a great feeling." When asked what activities were her favorite to do with the residents, she stated, “I like Bingo the most because the residents enjoy it so much. I love doing anything creative and being outdoors too!”



Outside of work, Lisa enjoys relaxing at home and spending time with her family. At home, she has a Miniature Pinscher that keeps her company and is adored by her three children and five grandchildren. She also has a loving cat named Jack who gives the best snuggles.
