Once a month, we like to recognize one of our amazing residents! We have the privilege of getting to work with these individuals every day. It is so interesting hearing their life stories and learning about all of the things that matter to them, and we want to share their stories.

Meet our August Resident of The Month, PEGGY!


_{Salem Woods' August Resident of the Month - Peggy}

Peggy has been a resident at The Residence at Salem Woods for over five years. We sat down with Peggy to talk with her about her life and get to know a little bit more about her. Peggy has lived in Cincinnati her whole life. She was born and raised on the East Side and was a very active child. Her earliest childhood memories are of her playing, swimming, and riding her bike at Turkey Ridge Park.

Growing up, Peggy's family had a pet dog named Petey, whom they loved very much. When Peggy was a child, she wanted to grow up to be a Nurse or like her mother, Mary. Her mother was her biggest influencer and role model. Peggy enjoys her time with her family and loved ones. She especially loves when her children, Kenny and Becky, come to visit her; she treasures the time they share watching TV together. Her favorite TV show is The Beverly Hillbillies. Her proudest moments in life were when she gave birth to her children.
