December Employee of the Month

Our skilled nursing facility is humbled to provide exceptional care to our community in Cincinnati, Ohio. In doing so, we know that we have to fill our team with employees who are dedicated to our Culture of Care. One of our employees has exemplified our core values and stood out to co-workers and residents. We'd like to take a moment to congratulate Candy Bunch as Salem Woods' December Employee of the Month!


Candy has been an STNA at Salem Woods for almost three years, but her healthcare career started in 2000. When she was a little girl, she dreamed to be just like her grandmother, who was an RN and DON. Candy is very passionate about her career; you can see it in everything she does! She can be found working in our Alzheimer’s and Dementia Unit, bringing a vibrant smile and laughs to our residents.

Candy is a strong, independent working mom of four daughters. Her family is everything to her. She is a very proud grandmother of four grandchildren, with the newest one born around Christmas. Candy is also a pet lover with one dog named Chloe and two cats, Ashton and Cookies. When she’s not busy being a supermom and grandma, she loves to cook, do crafts and catch a movie in her downtime.

We, at Salem Woods, are grateful to have an employee like Candy to serve our residents with the utmost respect and compassion. Thank you for being a great employee!
