February Employee of the Month

We'd like to take a moment to celebrate Mary Horsley as our February Employee of the Month! Salem Woods is filled with amazing staff members that are committed to making a difference in our residents' lives. They go above and beyond to deliver quality care to each resident that resides with us, short-term and long-term.

Mary has been with Salem Woods for eight months in our Housekeeping Department. We love how dependable and punctual she is! She takes pride in everything she does at the facility for our residents. What she loves most about her career is being able to help people. It makes her day to see the residents so happy. She really enjoys listening to their stories and just being around them all day.



Her co-workers had great things to say about Mary, including that she's very dependable, is a team player and is always friendly to be around. You will always see her walking around with a smile on her face! Co-workers and residents will also say that they appreciate the level of detail she puts into her cleaning.

Mary was born into a big family with five siblings. She has started her own family with one son and two daughters. In her spare time, Mary loves to hang out with her family and kids in the backyard. She also loves the farm life! She has many goats and dogs on her farm, and she believes they are one of the best forms of therapy.

Thank you, Mary, for all that you do for our residents. Your hard work and dedication to this team do not go unnoticed!
