May Employee of the Month

Salem Woods is happy to announce our May Employee of the Month, Ashlee Thomas! This month, we are celebrating Ashlee and all the ways that make her a great caretaker!

Ashlee is one of our newest employees and works in our Housekeeping Department. She has been at Salem Woods for five months and has already proven to be a hard worker! A few reasons why we love Ashlee are that she is very dependable, is always on time and willing to pick up shifts, and always has a smile on her face when she comes into residents' rooms to do laundry.



One of the things Ashlee loves most about her job is talking to the residents and putting a smile on their faces. If they are having a bad day, she is there for them by helping to turn the day around. She gets so much joy out of being in their lives. Ashlee loves that she can put 100% into her job with residents and get 100% back. She takes pride in her job!

Outside of work, Ashlee loves learning about herbal medicine and holistic healing. She also enjoys listening to music. She most recently has been listening to old records and learning the history of them.
